Style: I love bright colorful tattoos as well as Black and Grey. I don’t do so much of the horror and realism that the other guys like to do. I love Line work and Freehand tattooing. I am best know for my Japanese Traditional with a little new school flare. Always up for a challenge. Influences: Ever changing, depends where my interests are. A few guys that have helped my tattooing style and knowledge are Chris Blinston, Dave Martinez, Dj Richardson, and the rest of my guys at the shop. What got you into Tattooing: I really started collecting tattoos at age 21 when I joined a band called Spooky Fruit in OKC. I fell in love with it and realized tattooing was my calling. I re-taught myself how to draw and with help from my friends, jumped in Face First! (I learned a lot of what not to do that way). Haven’t look back since. Favorite tattoo style: I love to see artwork that is completely different and original from what I see day to day. It can’t be flat, I like to see texture and good use of the color wheel to make things pop. I like stuff that you can look at for a long time and not get tired of. The Fit and Flow of a tattoo is everything to me, it has to move with the body and all of it’s natural curves. Curtis Fletcher's Myspace: myspace.com/cannibalgraphics |
